About NB Clock Services

The art of horology, the measuring of time or making of timepieces, is truly a dying art.  When I was a boy growing up in the1950s and 60s, clock and watch makers were common in nearly every small town across the United States.  As the mechanical age gave way to the modern computer age, the number of men and women dedicated to horology diminished to a mere handful of individuals scattered across the country leaving many communities without skilled horologists today.

In my early twenties, I recognized this phenomenon and decided to do my part to slow the demise of the horologists.  Here I am forty years later still trying to be the champion of antique clocks.

Many of us can remember our parent's and grandparent's homes - full of life and fond memories.  Often at the center of it all was the beloved old family clock - ticking and chiming as time and childhood marched on.  I specialize in bringing those old heirlooms back to life. For me, there is nothing more gratifying than restoring old timepieces to their former glory.

I encourage everyone who has an old clock to have it restored.  The warmth an old clock brings to a home is immeasurable, and it creates years of memories that will be cherished for generations to come.

Call or come see us today to discover the joy a clock can bring to your home.
